Who's Your Daddyo? And What Does He Do?There are loads of Dad’s out there. All of us came in part from one. All Dad’s are bonded by the common factor of experiencing fatherhood. For some of us, it bonds us. Despite this similarity, most of us are quite different, whether it be profession, hidden talent, parenting style, etc., we all tick differently. This feature, Who’s Your Daddyo & What Does He Do? features a different Dad each time, each filling out and answering the same questions.

Danny from HowToDaddoo talks to us about his cat-like reflexes and boobies in thisedition of Who’s Your Daddyo?

Current Gig/Job/Way of Spending Your Day:

I currently work full-time in manufacturing whilst in the process of launching my own business and blogging in my spare time.

Number of kids:  1 and a 1/2. 2-year-old daughter Ayla with 1 boy on the way.

One word that best describes how you Dad: Bewildered.

What one thing (tool, device, accessory, etc.) makes your life as a Dad easier?

We found the Minijumi bottle a lifesaver when moving from breast to bottle. Pre-mimijumi she refused everything except her Mammy. I was extremely proud of the progress Ayla made and the perseverance and determination of my wife to find a solution. I couldn’t have done it – literally – I have no boobies!

What’s your favorite thing about being a Dad?

As our daughter gets older I love being able to share funny moments as we make memories together. She gets my humour, many don’t.

What every day thing are you better at than everyone else (doesn’t have to be Dad related)?

Expert cereal maker. With me, its never just your average bowl.

What do you do that makes your kids think you’re a super hero/super dad?

I have the ability to catch Ayla no matter where she jumps from or how short notice I’m given. Cat-like reflexes.

What centers you when the kids are acting up?

I generally find some much needed toilet time to take me out of the situation. Come on, we’ve all done it. Said we need a poo when it’s just a sitty-down wee.

What’s your favorite way to unwind?

I like to veg out and watch TV or when the wife isn’t around I have a game on FIFA (although it is FIFA 11 and don’t have any up to date versions)

What’s your best Dad-related tip?

Spend as much time as you can with your little one and remember it’s okay not to have all the answers.

What is your favorite Dad story?

When we discovered Ayla could sing the entire soundtrack to ‘The Lion King’ – https://youtu.be/rYMR-HydrFk – The Lion King musical offered her a future part in an Instagram comment, which I’m still awaiting in writing 😂

Fill in the blank: I’d love to see Dadsense answer these same questions.
